iPad 11 4th Generation
yesterday I traded in an iPad mini for the 11th 4th Generation iPad. I now see there are other newer generations eg 10th generation. If the 4th generation a good choice?

Hard to say, since your identification of the iPad you got is not very clear.
There is. no such thing as an 11th 4th Generation iPad.
Do you perhaps mean an 11" (inch, as in screen size) 4th Generation iPad Pro?
If so, then that iPad is much, much better than the 10th Generation iPad. The 10th Generation iPad is the entry level iPad.
The 11" 4th Generation iPad Pro is the smaller of the Pro(fessional) iPads. More RAM, better CPU, better cameras and general hardware... higher price.
