File app not showing on iTunes file sharing list
This is the same question like this thread: File app not showing on iTunes file shari… - Apple Community
I'm starting a new thread since apple wrote following on mentioned thread: "Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question" (btw, i've found this thread via google, now there will be at least two threads with same topic.. little bit confusing and not user friendly i think, but.. :) )
My answer is following: Open "File" app on your iPhone -> browse to the root folder (by clicking "Back"/"Browse" button in the top left corner) -> browse to "On My iPhone" folder -> you then see the list of folders which will include folders where other applications (like Firefox, or "GarageBand for iOS") save files -> copy and paste your files to one of these folders (to folder "Firefox" for example). Since this folder can be seen from iTunes -> File Sharing, you are now able to transfer your files to the Windows PC.
Other approach could be to install a special app which can transfer/send files from iPhone to PC (search in app store) - i haven't tried this.
