Why does Malwarebytes say all is well when CleanMyMac X says there is some kind of problem and wants to clean it up?

Because CleanMyMac is a commercial form of Malware. It tries to claim value to its use by reporting problems you do not have. It should be removed by following the installation instructions provided by MacPaw. More than likely all files will not be removed since it will want to remain on your system to tell you there are problems that only they can solve. After removing, you can follow up with an EtreCheck report by using the Additional Text option when posting.
