Continuity Camera on Apple TV times-out

I've used both of our iPhone 14 Pros in Continuity Camera mode, using the FaceTime app on a current model Apple TV with the same results each time. The FaceTime call drops after several minutes each time, forcing us to reconnect - only to have the call drop a few minutes later.

The Apple TV is networked via ethernet. The video quality and Center Stage have been awesome but the video calls appear to time-out after several minutes (5-10 minutes) every time. Is anyone else experiencing this phenomenon?

Clicking on "Other..." opens up the QR code. When I scan the QR code with either my iPhone Xs or iPad Pro camera it will first show on the device camera screen (in yellow text) "Connect to Apple TV". When I click on this yellow text it then changes to "Connecting to Apple TV" for several seconds but then it goes right back to "Connect to Apple TV". I can never get past this point to complete the setup. FWIW, continuity camera works fine with Facetime on my Mac and between my iPhone or iPad. All the devices are connected to the same Apple ID and the same 5GHz Wi-fi network. I have signed out and back in to my Apple ID on all the devices. I have also rebooted all my devices at least once. Has anyone had a similar issue which they solved and have any constructive suggestions for a fix before I engage Apple Support? Thanks in advance. rayinnj

Apple TV4k not recognizing iPhone 13 Pro for FaceTime (continuity camera) I recently downloaded iOS 17 and TvOS for my Apple tv4k (3rd Gen). The FaceTime app does not recognize my phone to initiate a call. I get the “other” option, scan the QR code, but still does not connect. steps taken: connected to the same iCloud account on both phone and tv continuity camera setting on tried restarting decices tried restarting FaceTime the only thing I can think of is the Apple TV is connected with Ethernet and phone is on WiFi (same network). anything else I can try?

iPhone continuity camera not working iPhone continuity camera appears no longer to work on ios 16.5.1 (c). When I run Facetime on Mac, and choose iPhone camera, the iPhone displays a black screen with only two options PAUSE or DISCONNECT, neither of which buttons does anything. About ten seconds later the link is broken and the iphone returns to the home. I'm on iPhone 13 Pro, and this worked a week or so ago when I first tested it, so it looks as if the latest iOS update has broken the feature. Any ideas?
