Tags on Notes partly go missing on XS and iPad Pro Smart Folders
I have smart folders in my notes on both my XS and iPad Pro. There are both set up correctly for iCloud and all my devices and apps are 100% fully up-to-date and the latest version. All my cloud setting are correct.
I keep a daily diary of a note per day and keep it in two files #Diary and #Diary-Archive
Once I have completed I more the note from #Diary to #Diary-Archive.
My method is in #Diary folder:-
- tap 3 dots in top right
- select notes
- then tap the note I wish to move
- tap tags in middle bottom of screen
- then in the list of tags select Diary-Archive and unselect Diary
- The note should move in to the new smart folder
However sometimes when I look back I can’t find the note in the correct Smart Folder.
When I investigate further I find the note but its tag reads “#…” in a grey colour rather than reading “Diary-Archeive” in the active orange/yellow colour.
I have tried lots of testing and it seem to go missing when I do the change on my phone but not always.
