AirPod maxes come with free 6 months of Apple music

I recently got AirPod maxes but only after 2 months of getting them I realized they were supposed to come with 6 months of free Apple Music, I did not know this neither did it say it came with it, I bought my AirPods from Best Buy and I just checked online apparently it came with “3 months of Apple Music”, although I think it may be related to where I bought it from, I have no idea whether that is the case or I just didn’t get anything with them, I also already used the normal 1 month trial because I didn’t get anything else or any offers when I first opened Apple Music.
