Letter Template Margin too wide

Hi,

I am using Pages version 13.2 (7038.0.87).

When I use the Pages Letter template there is a minimum right hand side margin width of ~2 inches + the document margin. Even when I reduce the document margin to 0 inches there is a 2 inch margin on the RHS. However the header/footer margin seems to be adjusted correctly.

I have attempted to change the document margin with the ruler, but it seems fixed. I cannot find a setting to resolve this.

So, I copy and paste from a Letter template to a blank document in order to be able to reduce the right hand side margin.

Is there any setting that would enable me to change the right hand side margin in the Letter Template, otherwise it seems unusable since the body text is too narrow.

Appreciate your help. Thanks!

While working with templates, once you create a new document, it's up to you to set the appropriate margins and such.

If you would like to have the same margins every time you want to type a letter, you would need to create the letter document, make the changes to the margins, fonts, tabs, etc (the normal customization), and then save that as your own template, which would be saved to 'My Templates' and select the option to have it appear in the Template Chooser. This would ensure that when you want to type a letter, you can choose the template you created with your customizations.

Apple's templates are just a starting point, it's up to you to customize them to your liking and save them as new templates as you want/need.
