Enter a new notification email in Apple ID

Trying to change / Update a new notification email.

(The present email does NOT exist anymore. )

What to do in Mac's Apple ID to continue finish a new notification email ?

What steps are needed to remove or change the notification email? On Apple Account when accessed via web in sections 'sign-in and security' there is a field 'notification email'. Email address that I must have put here in the past is no longer valid. I try to remove it but I get a message to continue on one of my devices. But I do not understand what does it mean? Change notification email on Apple Account Following the instructions to remove or change the Notification Email, the message arises: Continue on one of your devices On an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch go to Settings > Apple Account. On a Mac go to System Preferences or System Settings > Apple Account. What does this mean? I see nothing to do on my devices or my desktop. Other questions along this line here don't reveal a solution.

notification email hello, i can’t seem to change my notification email. i’ve gone to appleid.apple.com but it gives me this message. “continue on one of your devices. On an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch go to Settings > Apple ID. On a Mac go to System Preferences or System Settings” please help i don’t know what to do.

You must perform this step on one of your other trusted devices. So not on the Mac that you're trying to change your notification email on
