I can't eject a sim or sd card, it says I'm running a program, don't want to force eject

Use the following command in the Terminal app to identify the processes which are using a particular volume...if you have more than one volume on the drive, then check each volume.
The easiest way of giving this command the proper path to the volume is by starting to type the command in the Terminal app....making sure to leave at least one space after the last character. Then in the Finder, drag & drop the volume you want to eject onto the open Terminal window so the correct path is filled. Press the "Return" key to execute the command.
Start by typing (make sure to have at least one space at the end):
lsof
Drag & drop the volume you want to eject from the Finder to this open Terminal window so you get something like this if the volume name is "Card1":
lsof /Volumes/Card1
Or if the volume name is "My Card":
lsof /Volumes/My\ Card
Press the "Return" key to submit the command.
Unfortunately with macOS sometimes an app or a process will just refuse to give up its hold on a mounted volume. Sometimes one of the apps you used on the drive must be completely closed before that app will release the drive. Spotlight (mds) has been known to hang on as well.
Please will you mention the MacBook Pro version you bought with the facility that allows SIM cards to be used? Actually I am from India and many services are not available in India so be kind enough to mention your Nation and the future version that might be available in future editions.

Sorry did you insert a SIM card in place of SD Card ? I would recommend to get to a authorized repair shop and get it fixed without trying on yourself that might damage your system.
