I would like to buy an iPhone 15. Before, I would like to know if there is a restriction with updates based on the model and the country.
If the model is for the US market for example, will I receive updates/upgrades if I live outside US?
I currently have a Samsung phone. It is a US model, I live in France. I cannot update it because I live outside the proper market country. It is their policy about updates.
Is Apple has the same kind of policy?
The updates are available worldwide. Note that you'll likely be denied warranty or AppleCare+ service outside the country it was originally sold in, and for an iPhone 14 or 15 coming from the USA, will need to have a carrier which provides eSIM support.

Updates to the iOS are avaliable world wide. The US model is only E-Sim only, but if you can use E-Sim in France, you should not encounter any problems
