The left of my Airpod suddenly can’t connect to my iPhone, what can I do about that

When the two AirPods are placed in my ears, only the right ear makes the connected sound and reflects to be connected. The left ear however charges but does not connect nor does it play any sound and it was working as at twenty-four hours ago.
