How to easily install Google Chrome Extensions into Safari?

Chrome extensions can be installed in Safari seemingly through a process requiring developer tools. As a casual Mac user, is there a simple way to acquire the installed Chrome extension and subsequently install it for use with Safari? That particular extension has not been ported to the Apple Store. I prefer to not have to open Google Chrome just to use that extension.

Why can't you search in safari extensions on the App Store? When I open the App Store, go to safari extensions, I don't find the search bar.
