Sorry, I don’t know what you mean by “duplicate” apps. The only thing I can think of is that you can have multiple of the same app icon on your home screen. Try removing the excess icons from your home screen, the steps are in the article I already provided. Otherwise, there’s no way there’s more than one instance of an app on your iPhone, so I’m not sure what you’re referring to. Hopefully this helps!
