Why is the software of my iPhone 8 plus can not be updated
I am trying to update my software from 14 to others but the menu that comes up is error

Please note that as of iOS 17, the iPhone 8 Plus is no longer officially supported by Apple. But it is compatible with up to iOS 16.7.4, so you should still be able to update your iPhone to a newer version.
If I'm understanding correctly, you're unable to update your iPhone. If you are unable to update your iPhone wirelessly, one thing you can try is updating your iPhone manually via a Mac or PC.
- If your Mac is running macOS Catalina or later, you can update your iPhone using Finder.
- If your Mac is running macOS Mojave or earlier, you can update your iPhone using iTunes.
- If you are using a Windows PC, you can update your iPhone using iTunes or the Apple Devices app. If you're using Windows 10 or 11, I would highly recommend using Apple's new Apple Devices Preview app available on the Microsoft Store instead of iTunes, I have had a much better experience than using iTunes.
