My Apple Pen Automatically Disconnects From iPad And won’t allow me to connect it

One Day I tried to use my Apple pen and it did not bother to work I connected it back but in 10 seconds it rejected the connection 1 day after Bought and charged

Since losing my old Apple prn (gen 2) on my summer holiday i finally got around to purchase a new one (apple pen gen 2) this week, to be ready to start my new semester my iPad was running on iOS 17, so I thought it was time for an update since I got my new apple pen. apple pen won’t connect everytime i go onto my ipad, the apple pen is always disconnected. never stays fully connected. i restart the ipad all the time and still does not connect
