App store download face id issue

Face ID is not working in the app store and I have to manually enter my password. I also do not get the "double click" option, but rather, there is an "install button" that I must select. I've toggled app store on and off in the face id section in settings. I've restarted the phone. I've reset the accessibility features for the double click. Still won't work in app store. Face ID appears to be working everywhere else. I have tried to reset settings for password in app store. I see this has been an issue in the past. I have tried all previous suggestions.
