Sum column in table on ipad

I have a pages document that contains tables on my iPad Pro. I want to sum a column like I normally do in numbers (type =sum( etc..) but the formula editor doesn’t open/appear..

I have searched internet but i can find a solution.

How to calculate the sum of a vertical column in Numbers? I have a vertical column of numbers in the Numbers application. I want to get a total sum for all of the cells in the column. The cell in which I want to calculate this sum total is Row 119 and Column S. I have a field open in which I need to enter the formula for calculating the sum total. Sum Subtotals in Numbers spreadsheet I know you can use the option key in numbers to generate a sum. However when I drag the sub token to add the total to the spreadsheet, it doesn't want to go to the cell I want. It wants to go one cell over or one row above Is there anyway to fix this? thanks

As far as I can tell, and by taking about 30 minutes to review the Pages User Guide for iPadOS, there is no formula support for tables in Pages on the iPad. You will have to use Numbers for iPad if you have data you want to apply a formula too. Then, you may be able to copy/paste that table into Pages with no guarantee (by me) that the formulas will remain.

My principal focus is on Pages for macOS and I do very little with Pages (or Numbers) on other Apple platforms.
