I'm using shortcuts to create an automation.
When choosing get current weather and providing a city name, all works well.
When setting current location I get the error "unable to get current location"
same for get current location activity.
What can be the issue? I'm struggling for days.

Do you have Location Services, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth all enabled? Try your Shortcut after making those changes.
I’m starting to think it can be a GPS issue as suddenly I get my current location in weather app half way across the world and Maps app is unable to show my current location
One must take "current location" as not being within 50 feet of where you are standing, but where the nearest national weather service reporting station is located. That might be across town, as in my case with the local airport, or it might be 30 miles away for someone living in New Hampshire (as an example).
That said, the weather that the Apple Weather app shows for my location can vary from what is indicated by the local NWS weather site that is five miles distant.
I have an iPad 5 with Wi-Fi + Cellular (with Celluar off) running iPadOS 16.7.4 and My Location works just fine. However, that does not explain why your current weather location is not working with all of your mentioned radios on.

The point is that current location doesn’t work for me anywhere
