Voice Control turns on when I don’t want it. What causes this?

I have an iPhone 14 ProMax with iOS 17.2.1. Voice Control keeps getting turned on and I don’t know what causes this. I manually turn it off in the Accessibility settings and within days, it has been turned on again. There must be some short cut I don’t know about that’s triggering it. I want to prevent this so that it never turns on without my changing the setting in Accessibility.

What’s triggering this and how do I prevent it!

To be clear, do you mean Voice Control, Voice Over, or Siri?

When Voice Control is off you can still dictate texts and email by tapping the microphone icon next to the text box in Messages or under the keyboard in email and other apps that accept text. Are you perhaps inadvertently tapping this icon?

I mean Voice Control. I’ve used Siri for years and know how dictation works. This is not that. That’s why the only way I can turn it off is by going into Accessibility and turning off Voice Control, which I do weekly and which then keeps turning on again when I haven’t opened up the Accessibility settings.
