How to stop Clock alarm?
How do I make the Clock timer stop the alarm? I've turned off the sound for now but it continues to ring apparently until the battery is dead. I'd prefer to not reboot my Mac.

Wrong clock. Not the clock for the menu bar you manage in Settings, it's the actual Clock app in the Applications folder, as dialabrain showed a screen shot of.
Open the app and click on the Alarms tab. Remove any alarms that are currently set.

When the Alarm goes off, there is a notification on the top right of the screen. Select Options, Stop.
It should open at the top right as I said. Since it's not there, open Clock and disable the Alarm with the slider.
Start another timer, set say for 1 second. When it goes off click on the notification in upper right.
I rebooted and thankfully the alarm is gone. It looks like the Clock app Timers feature is unusable for me. One of many bugs I've found in 14.2.
There is no such feature in the menubar or upper right corner. I even looked in System Settings and Clock does not appear in the list. I tried to kill process coreaudiod in Activity Monitor but the alarm continues to launch.
I don't have any such notification, where should it be?
Now I am looking in the Settings>Notifications and Clock app is not even listed.
My Clock app does not have those features. It shows that no alarms are sounding even though one has been going off for about 2 hours. It looks like I am going to reboot if I want to listen to music.
How is setting another alarm a better solution than simply removing any that exist?
