Why can't you use an iPhone as your Home Hub? It seems like an unreasonable requirement and I am aware that it used to be supported and that the operating system is basically the same as other mobile devices like iPads, which do support it. I make sure you get more money from me by not doing blatant money grabs.

Emulated home hub not working So, when I looked at a support page, it said that we could use our iPad as a home hub. I tried that, but it did not work. It used to work, but when I got the home upgrade, and a new iPad, the feature was deleted.

no, only appletvs and homepods can act as hubs, purpose of the hub is to always be in your home so it can act the bridge between apples homekid servers and your lan network
