How do I change the name of my computer that this website has. Specifically I want to erase the " (2)" that is appended to the name on this page:
I was unable to find a way to change the name, it appears to be automatically generated. I only have one MacBook.

That's not what I want. What I want is to change the name of my computer that this site thinks I have. The one shown in the screenshot above is what this website thinks my computer is called. There must be a page somewhere I can set my computer's name.

Having a "2" appended to the name causes all sorts of trouble, which is what I am trying to solve this morning.
Here is the latest trouble I have been fighting with for hours, trying to log into iCloud with my iPhone:
I suspect all this trouble is caused because my computer constantly changes its name. Does anyone know why and how to make its name stay the same?
Does anyone know why I can't log into iCloud on my iPhone? I removed it on the Apple "Devices" page and even reset my password, even though I knew my password all the time. And after all that and several restarts the iCloud button is still unresponsive. I can log into the Apple and iCloud.com website but the iPhone iCloud has been broken for several days. My focus so far has been the ever-changing name of my Macbook but it could be irrelevant. Has anyone heard of these problems?
