Get rid of green FaceTime icon HOW?

The green FaceTime icon is coming up constantly on the top right of the screen. How do I stop it? I can’t find any settings for it and can’t click on it. I read a power cycle will stop it but it doesn’t.

I know it’s there because a family member is on FaceTime but I don’t care and don’t need a stupid icon telling me. Please tell me how to remove permanently because it is irritating?

Turn off collaboration popup messages asking "do you want to collaborate" When in a FaceTime call, I will often need to look up some information. As soon as I navigate to Safari, I get a popup asking if I want to collaborate. How can I disable this default annoying popup. If I want to collaborate, then surly it is something that I will select myself. I do not need to be constantly pestered like some child with suggestion about what I may or may not want to do.
