How to fix long export time in Final Cut Pro

I’m a wedding photographer and videographer. I’ve worked with MacBooks for years. My previous laptop was a 2020 with 1TB of storage, but it took quite a while for render and export time. I upgraded to a 2022 MacBook Pro with the M2 chip and am finding that the render/export is hours long for a video less than 10 minutes long. Now, some videos have taken me long in the past, but I’m not sure why it’s being so excessive. I have it set to render in the background and I don’t have any 3rd party effects added (unless you count a conversion LUT for my Canon LOG footage which has never previously given me issues and should be fine per Apple tech). Yet I’ve been stuck at about 65% for HOURS. I’m wondering if it’s my laptop, Final Cut, or something else. I’m exhausted of running into this issue. It shouldn’t be this long.
