I am trying to download my game and it’s not letting me saying I need to update my payment and says that my payment selection is about to go out of date and that’s not true. The expiration date is two years from now. It’s never done this before. I’m not understanding why or what I need to do.

There seems to be a problem with Apple’s App Store server; many people are getting messages that their payment method has expired. As a workaround you can add another card to your account, then delete the original account, then add it back. Or wait for Apple to fix the problem.
