In app's using iCloud , why does calendar appear twice ?

"iCloud Calendar" is, I believe, the calendar on www.icloud.com. "Calendar" is the app on your iPad. They can share the same data.

Should the Calendar app on my iPad be turned on as well , or leave it the way it is ?
I don't seem to experience any issues with it . 🤷♀️
