As for the number not working, try the online contact method instead. You are the first person I have seen who has said that number does not work, so either you are not in India (most Apple numbers do not work from outside the country) or there is something very special about your telephone service.

Remember that nobody responding to you here works for Apple.

I would think that if Apple's telephone number for India was not working then there would be many posts about it, not just yours. Verify you are using the correct number: Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support
