Any suggestions how to open .sd2 files exported from an older version of Logic (2011)? Neither QuickTime nor Logic will open these files now.
I've tried an online converter, but the result was full of white noise, though the content of the file was audible in the background.
I found the solution. Apparently, these files often become corrupted. A program called SD2 Fixer can repair (some) corrupted files, but it only runs on older Macs.

That is an old Sound Designer format.
I have an iMac that I keep Mojave on which has gives me the ability to convert SD2 files into Aiff or AAC. I think MP3 as well.
