I understand that you're experiencing issues with the selfie camera on your iPhone 15 Pro Max. Several factors can contribute to dark and blurry selfies, and troubleshooting these issues can help you resolve the problem.

1. Lighting :

Ensure adequate lighting is present when taking selfies. The selfie camera is designed to perform best in bright environments. Avoid taking selfies in dimly lit or low-light conditions, as this can cause the camera to struggle to capture enough light, resulting in dark and grainy images.

2. Camera Lens Cleanliness :

Check if the front camera lens is clean. Any dirt, debris, smudges, or scratches on the lens can obstruct the light and affect image quality. Clean the lens with a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth to remove any impurities.

3. Software Updates :

Ensure your iPhone's software is up to date. Apple regularly releases software updates that address bugs and optimize camera performance. Check for available updates and install them as soon as possible.

4. Focus Mode :

Verify that the focus mode is set correctly. The selfie camera has automatic focus, but you can also manually adjust the focus to ensure the subject is in sharp focus. Tap on the screen to focus on the desired area of your face.

5. Camera App Configuration :

Check the camera app's settings to ensure they're not affecting image quality. Some third-party camera apps may have specific settings that can impact the selfie camera's performance. Try switching to the default Apple Camera app to see if the issue persists.

6. Case or Accessories :

Remove any cases or accessories that might be obscuring the selfie camera lens or affecting its functionality. Sometimes,third-party cases or accessories can interfere with the camera's performance.

7. Hardware Issue :

If none of the above solutions resolve the issue, there might be a hardware problem with the selfie camera itself. In this case, contact Apple Support to schedule a repair or replacement.

Remember, selfies rely on adequate lighting and proper focus to capture clear and detailed images. By following these troubleshooting steps, you should be able to improve the quality of your iPhone 15 Pro Max selfie photos.
