I did the latest update yesterday on my iPhone 13 Pro Max and now I cannot select a batch of emails and delete them all at once. I have to slide them one by one to delete. Is anyone else having this issue and if so, is there a fix?

Have you tried a simple Force Restart on your iPhone (something I do after EVERY iOS update)?
I use Yahoo Mail on my iPhone. When I open my mail, I still have the option to tap Edit in the right hand corner of my Inbox, which reveals circles on the left of each message, which I can tap as many as I want and then tap Trash once I've chosen however many email I want to delete.
Are you saying you can't do that on Yahoo Mail on your iPhone? I'm on iOS 17.2.1 on iPhone 15 Pro Max.
That’s the issue I’m having, I cannot select each email then once I have selected all that I want to delete (in Yahoo) I cannot simply tap the trash can anymore. I have to go one by one and slide to delete. Before the update, I could select and simply hit the trash can.
Yes, I have a 13 Pro Max on iOS 17.2.1. None of the buttons at the bottom are working since the update. I cannot move any emails to my folders, I cannot select a bunch and press the trash can, etc. It’s like all of those functions no longer work on my phone.
Managing multiple emails for deletion on an iPhone has always been a bit of a chore due to the absence of a batch deletion feature. Users are left with the choice of either painstakingly deleting emails individually or selecting them en masse and removing them in one go. Unfortunately, there hasn't been a dedicated option to efficiently handle bulk deletions, necessitating either laborious manual deletion or the selection of all emails for removal.
Then you're doing it wrong. If you're calling emergency services, you are holding the volume and power buttons at the same time. That is NOT what I posted. Follow the directions EXACTLY as I posted them.
If I do that, my phone automatically calls 911 in emergency mode.
