Find all .heic photos

I have a variety of photos from different sources (DSLRs, scans of slides/negatives, non iPhone phones, etc.) in Photos.

Is there a simple way to create an album that includes ONLY those photos shot on my current and previous iPhone?

(I’d prefer to do this on the phone, but if that’s impossible I can on a Mac or iPad.)

iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 16

On the iPhone you cannot create smart albums to search for a certain camera model or a file type.

You may want to do this on your Mac.

There you can create a smart album "File > New Smart Album". Then set the rule to a "camera Model is ..." rule for the first iPhone model, add a second rule for your other iPhone model, combine the two rules with "Match Any".

If you want to find any iPhone models, use a rule Camera mode includes "iPhone".

Alternately use a rule "Filename ends with 'heic'"
