Audio volume in iPhone videos is too low
Whenever I take a video on my iPhone and then download it to my PC, the video plays fine except for the audio seems to get turned REALLY down... almost muted... it's definitely still there, just really, really low. If I view the video on my phone, there is no problem with the sound.
Whenever I take a video on my iPad and download that to my PC, the video plays back fine and there are no issues with the sound.
As I attempt to trouble shoot why this is, I've come across a few possibilities/suggestions, none of which apply to my situation. So I'm hoping someone can make a suggestion here in Apple's user forum:
- A lot of people seem to have this issue for the first 10 seconds being really quite on the video that they've downloaded from their iPhone to their PC. People tend to reply with the solution that when you are recording a video, to wait until those first 10 seconds have passed before speaking in your video. Regardless, this is not my issue--my volume is very low throughout the the entire video.
- I also see people recommending that one can have issues with using a blue tooth microphone attached to your iPhone. Again, this does not seem to be my issue--I have low volume regardless if I use a blue tooth microphone or not.
- Another suggestion I have come across is to check settings for the camera on the iPhone... apparently, one should deselect the option to record in stereo. I don't have that option in my iPhone camera settings in the first place, to modify.
I've included a screen capture of my settings for my camera on my iPhone.
Lastly, here are a couple of details about my iPhone:
Model: iPhone 7
Version: iOS 15.8
Thank you in advance for taking the time to read my query!
Best,
