Can both eSIM be used in two devices?

If I have a second phone and want to use eSIM on the second phone, can I still use my physical sim on the old phone and have two phones with the same line?

Using 1 iPhone with 2 SIM cards I just purchased a new esim to use in my current iPhone 14. I would like to separate my business and personal life better so decided it was time to get a new personal phone. My network provider who sold me the esim said I could use both sims in my iPhone 14, as I would prefer to not have 2 handsets, but now I’m not convinced it will work. Seeing as I am signed in with my Apple ID, surely this means I will still see all my business WhatsApp, emails etc when switching to my ‘personal’ sim?. Ideally, I would like to be able to switch between the 2 sims and use the phone like 2 separate phones, but is this even possible?

Swapping back and forth between one phone with sim and another with esim Currently I have a 6 Plus with the camera removed that I use at work, and an XR. Every workday I swap the sim from the XR to the 6 Plus in the morning and back after work. If I get a new iPhone with esim, how do I swap back and forth between it and one of my other phones with sim?

Phone has 2 ESIMs; How to transfer just one I have two ESIMs on my iPhone 16. One is supposed to be for my daughter’s phone but somehow, I don’t remember how, it’s linked to my phone. How do I transfer the “Available SIM” (the one not used) to her iPhone? When I try to transfer, it tries to move MY phone number/ESIM to the other device and I don’t see an option to choose the other number/ESIM. Carrier is Cricket if that helps.

No this is not possible at present. You can only have cellular service on one device per IMEI and phone number.
