How to fix Bad Request Error HTTP Error 400 on MacBook Air

I am getting a "Bad Request - Request Too Long HTTP Error 400. The size of the request headers is too long" message on my MacBook Air. This is happening on safari as well as chrome browsers for one particular website. Can someone please assist how to fix this?

"My computer is sending automated queries" - but only an issue on Safari, not Firefox I can do normal Google searches using Safari but when I try to access Google Scholar I get the error message "your computer or network may be sending automated queries. To protect our users, we can't process your request right now" (no CAPTCHA box is shown.) I can however perform Google Scholar searches using Firefox without getting that message. What is the problem? Is it a Safari setting? MacBook Air running MacOS Tahoe v 26.0.1.
