iPhone 14 Pro Max battery health

I bought iphone 14 pro max on 1 may 2023. First battery health degraded by 1% on 29th November 2023, but on 19th December 2023 another 1% decreased and on 1st January 2024 again 1% decreased. Now phone's battery health is 97%. From the beginning of after purchasing the phone I didn't let phone's battery down to 20% and charged upto 80%. Am I wrong? Also my concern is from 99% to 98%, it's only 20 days and 98% to 97% only 10 days to take.

It's not only 10 days, you bought it at the beginning of May. Your phone has decreased 3% in 6 months, you're doing great.

Batteries degrade over time with usage due to chemical aging, that's just how they work.

You can expect about a 1% drop per month with average use on an iPhone. This is an approximation, that is why it may be plus or minus a few percent on a month to month basis.

Apple recommends replacing it when it reaches 80%. To check your battery health, go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health.
