My discover card is in my wallet; however apple wallet won't recognize it as a debit card to allow instant transfer.

I have used the instant transfer feature before with my card and never had an issue. However recently it will not recognize my discover card as a debit card. I try to go through the bank feature and it says there is no debit account available. I’ve tried to re-add the card and it says there is no debit card in my wallet.
