Pop-Up: File was downloaded on an unknown date

I keep getting a pop-up saying "WebResultsToolDaemon" will damage your computer. Underneath it says "This file was downloaded on an unknown date" & then it gives 2 options "OK" or "Show in Finder". No matter which I pick, it goes away & then re-pops up. And when I select "Show in Finder" nothing happens.

Here are the screenshots of what are in the folders.

Nothing in those folders would cause your problems. Either there are more files in the folders that we cannot see or one of the folders is not there. I see you have a screenshot of an empty folder, but not sure of the location. The relevant folders are:

/Library/LaunchDaemons

/Library/LaunchAgents

~/Library/LaunchAgents

If you have deleted files already and did not do it in Safe Mode restart again and verify those location to make sure any files did not reappear. If the files are all the same as you have posted in the screenshots, check at Safari > Settings > Websites > Pop-Up Windows, and make sure the websites that you do not specifically want a pop up window is set to "Don't Allow".

Note that TeamViewer is remote access software and if you do not have a purpose for using it, then uninstalling would be recommended.

Now I have another question.....do I want Google Updater turned on my login settings?

If you use Google Chrome or other Google software, then you will most likely want to leave it on. Personally I am not a fan of Google software, since it relies on tracking and collection of personal information to sell ads. I don't use Google Chrome, so I do not have the option to Allow it to run in the background. The choice is yours and I don't claim my views are better than anyone else. You can leave it on, shut it off, or remove the google software on your computer along with the 3 google files from your screenshot above and that option will be removed automatically from your settings.

More importantly, I am glad you got that annoying pop up to go away.
