Unable to check for update

Hi, My iphone software is not updating. An error occurred while checking for updates. The pop up show unable to check for update, An error occurred while checking for a software update.

iPhone X, iOS 16

Turn off Low Power Mode (Settings > Battery).

Two things.

you need a WiFi signal to perform the update on an iPhone X.
You need to turn off Low Power Mode to perform the update.

iPhone X......which appears in your profile......cannot update to iOS 17, if that might be what you are asking about.

The most recent update for iOS 16 is 16.7.4
