I think I’ve had a payment issue in the past, but I can’t see anywhere that I am behind on payments, and my phone won’t let me download any apps, including the Free ones. Does anyone know how I get my phone to take off this default setting?

Apple can require a valid payment method (which cannot be a gift card) for verification purposes. It may be charged a small amount to verify it but this will be automatically refunded.

Why can’t I download a new app- every time I try it shows me my card details?
