Apple tv is not connecting to my Samsung tv

I have gone thru all the resolutions on this community forumvm nothing is working. My white is on , I have tried connecting To HDMI1, 2, 3, 4 tried unplugging and plugging back in , no success. The message is black screen with No Signal ,check connected devices power, cable connection, and source selection.

Apple TV 4K, tvOS 17

HDMI cables can fail, it is unusual however we have seen it. As mentioned, please first ensure your current HDMI cable is fully plugged in and connected. If it still will not connect, please get yourself a high quality (not necessarily expensive) HDMI cable, something like:

Try that does not work please unplug the TV from it's power source for 2-3 minutes and then re-plug in and also it is important that you keep the TV's firmware up-to-date. You will need to consult your TV's manual for instructions.


Then also unplug the Apple TV from its power source and re-boot it and keep TV OS up-to-date too.

You likely need to tell your TV to take input from the HDMI port to which the Apple TV box is connected. If you did that already, and you still are not getting any picture, then try the troubleshooting as listed on:

If your Apple TV isn't working, won't turn on, or shows a black screen - Apple Support

If this particular Apple TV box has been connected to a different TV before, then the ‘Check video resolution’ paragraph may provide the solution.
