Apple Watch app icon not visible
There is no Apple Watch icon in the utilities folder of my phone, which is where the app tells me it is: Utilities/All watches/My watch. I have to search for the app on the App Store to open it.

I downloaded the app and paired the phone and watch, set up watch face, notifications, etc. watch is working fine, paired to phone, but if I want to go to settings I have to search the App Store to OPEN the app. The watch icon is nowhere to be seen on the phone.

Try this before we do anything drastic. On the iPhone… settings…. General… iPhone Storage… scroll down were all the apps are (show all apps) … look for the Watch app and click on it… what buttons are there?
The app is showing there alright, last used yesterday. See screenshots here
I’ve done that, it’s not there. The search results that come up are all urls on Safari
You need the Watch app from the Apple Store for the iPhone.
Search “Watch” on the phone.
