Apple Music on Mac and Windows

I have a number of devices both IOS and Windows system based all signed in under the same Apple D which includes an Apple Match valid subscription.

Mac Sonama uptodate

Windows PC Windows 10 upto date

Windows Laptop Windows 11 up to date

I Pad

I Phone

Apple Music Library on the Windows PC and Lap top cone up with Session Expired repeatedly and despite many attempts failed message continues. I have tried the various remedies including clean deleting ITunes on both and fresh installs. So in essence not able to view Music Library.

On the Apple devices

Mac - Only shows an old library including 2022 additions but not the 2023 ones even after a syncing with the Apple ID

IPad - Working and with up to date Library

IPhone - resyncing library but taking an age

There seems to be a mutliple of different status all under the same Apple ID for Music and the Apple Match Subscription.

Any offers of assistance one by one by Device?

The two alternate subscription services are called Apple Music and iTunes Match. I assume you have the latter. See Use Sync Library with your Apple Music subscription - Apple Support. The steps to turn on iCloud Music Library syncing are the same for both services, but do differ slightly on Windows computers where it is iCloud Music Library instead of Sync Library. On computers you should be able to use File > Library > Update Library, or a minor variation to trigger an update of the library such that each computer and device has essentially the same content. It is possible that one or more of your libraries has excluded content, such as songs that are too long, too short, too low bitrate, or playlists that contain excluded content or refer to other playlists. See also If songs are missing from your music library after you turn on Sync Library - Apple Support.

By way of update I contacted Apple Support and after several chats and transferred up the line from Albania to Greece and trying various workarounds for the Genius Error message 18004 I was advised this is a known issue by Apple and they are trying to resolve. Make sure I install any subsequent updates however long that may take!

Finally many thanks for your help and assistance and a Happy New Year to one and all.
