Adding unreleased songs to Playlists

I was previously able to add unreleased songs to a playlist, for example if an artist had announced an album I could add the entire album to a playlist and once the album dropped they would become available in the playlist and I would be informed via notification. Now Apple Music is forcefully removing any unreleased songs from playlists and it’s messing up my ability to have my library the way I want it, why shouldn’t I be able to continue doing it the way I have been the past 2-3 years?

Can I delete an album from my Apple Music library without losing songs? I have an album (Sandinista by The Clash) that I want to remove from my library because I never listen to it. However, there are 4-5 songs on the album that are on various playlists that I've created over the years. I already know the answer to this, but I just want to say it really blows that I can't delete the album from my library without those songs being deleted from all of those playlists. Playlists should not be tied to Library. I can add songs to playlists that aren't in my library, right? So, all playlist songs should be unrelated to the Library. I literally have to keep this album in my Library forever just to avoid having to track down all the places where these songs occur on playlists over the years. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Why does Recently Added in Apple Music on iOS and CarPlay list old playlists and not recently added songs? Does anybody know how the Albums (or Songs) displayed in the "Recently Added" section of the Library on Apple Music (on Phone or CarPlay) are determined? I have recently needed to fully resync my personal music collection, which I have done using both iTunes and the Apple Music app. The Recently Added section in Library now displays a seemingly random (there's no obvious order to it) list of Playlists that were mostly created ages ago. None of my actual "Recently Added" albums are listed anymore. This is very frustrating as I can no longer quickly find the new music I'm likely to want to listen to - which is especially useful when using CarPlay. I have not been able to find any pattern. E.g. I have excluded some albums when syncing my library and then included them later thinking that the iPhone may then see them as new, but this makes no difference. If I remove the albums from my collection (on computer), re-add and then sync this works but I lose key metadata including "ratings". Any suggestions / explanations would be greatly appreciated. NOTE: This relates to the automatically populated "Recently Added" section of the Library on iOS/CarPlay. It's not a Playlist and the problem can't be worked around with one. Cheers

Apple Music deleting music titles from playlists when I delete the album Once in a while a have titles on a playlists and then I save the album just see listen thorugh it. When I have delete the album, apple music will not only delete the album but also the tracks in all playlists. this makes no sense. I just want to delete the album, not all the titles in my playlists
