How to show my name and email on iPhone always on display and on Lock Screen

I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max and kind of wanted to have my Name and Email show up on the Always on Display and on the Lock Screen.

If I loose it someone would have my minimal contact info.

I have searched for this but find no answers (or questions on it) - I am gueesig I am not wording my question right? Someone must have thought of this. I can do this on my Galaxy Note's I have had thru the years

Choose a photo you want to use on your Lock Screen. Edit it using Markup with what you want to show on the photo, then save it and use it as your Lock Screen photo. I'm not aware you can add text to the Always On Display.

And I would be careful about putting your name and email address on the Lock Screen. What I have is the following:

If You Found This iPhone

Please Call

xxx-xxx-xxxx

The phone number is my partners number, who I would have already let know I've lost my iPhone if I had.

Add custom image descriptions

In supported apps such as Photos, you can use Markup to add descriptions to images. VoiceOver reads your custom descriptions when you use the Image Explorer.

  1. In a supported app, tap  or Markup.
  2. In the Markup toolbar, tap , then tap Description.
  3. Enter your description, then tap Done.

The above came from this link --> Use Markup to add text, shapes, signatures, and more to documents on iPhone - Apple Support

It's worth checking if there have been any updates or changes in iOS since then.

No, there have been no changes in how this works.

To achieve a similar result, you might consider setting a custom wallpaper on your Lock Screen that includes your name and email address.

What do you think about this ??

That's certainly an option if you want. In fact, it's the option suggested in the "Best Reply" in this very thread. I find it a little kludgy and not very aesthetically appealing, but you may have different needs and preferences.
