How can I access music I have saved to my Itunes account and play it on my ipad pro or iphone xr. I want to make slideshows with music and want to use my own music, not the generic music apple provides. How can I do this?

When changing the Slide show music, there should be a Music Library option below the default themes.

How exactly did you save this music to your iTunes account? What exactly did you do?
Is this music available inside the Music App on your iPhore or iPad, or is it located somewhere else?
Are you using the Photos app to create the slide show?
If so, you can tap on Options under the slide show, then on Music, and then on Music Library to select a song from your library.
Songs from the Apple Music subscription service and songs that are DRM protected cannot be used for slide shows.
I go to the Itunes Store and buy the songs I like. Then when I open my apple music, the purchased songs are there. When I am creating a slideshow, and I select the music icon at the bottom of the page, "My Library" is not an option, its only apple's music offered for selection. Why can't I select items I've purchased? If I can't use the music I like, why would I buy it from Itunes?
