Cannot update iMac15 to Monterey version 12

My iMac 15,1 currently using MacOS Big Sur, version 11.7.10, will not upgrade to MacOS Monterey, version 12....why not??

iMac 27″, macOS 11.7

Exactly, which year model 15,1 iMac do you have?

The Late 2014 model can not be upgraded past Big Sur.

Only the Mid 2015 and Late 2015 models can upgrade to Monterey.
