Air Tag, Notify When Left Behind, Except At, Unable to Add Location

After trying a few things with this I think this is a bug with iOS.

I have a iPhone Pro 15 Max on iOS 17.2.1 and have a few Air Tags. The problem persists with all air tags I use.

I've done the following to try to remedy my problem. The issue is the same as this post which as been dead for a long time.

1) Reset Network Settings (Per Apple suggestion)

2) Reset my air tags (5x power pull)

3) Remove and re-add air tags

4) Remove location history under Signification Locations

Delete significant locations on iPhone - Apple Support (VN)

To give you an idea about this, if I try to add the suggested locations I get an error as shown in the linked post. "Unable to Add Location /n There was an error adding this location"

Example

1) Add my current location (not used before), it will add it successfully

2) Remove that location

2a) Edit: As long as you haven't exited away from that tag you can remove and re-add that location

3) Try to re-add that location (error)

3a) Edit: Once you've exited that air tag and return you cannot re-add that old location

4) Move the drop pin some amount outside the original blue circle and that location will add successfully.

4a) Any location within the original blue circle will cause the error.
