iPhone 11 Issues

For the past several months I have been experiencing multiple issues with my iPhone 11. I need to restart my phone daily or I often cannot reply to messages. Sometimes received messages show as a banner on the locked screen but when I open the messages it’s not there. Or I will have a new unread message but I don’t receive a notification. Also my timer can be set but only counts down some of the time, other times it shows like a shadow box with no text. Another issue is my reminders are showing up on the wrong day at the wrong time. I updated to iOS 17.2.1 today but I’m still having issues. Does anyone know of a way to fix these problems? I cannot afford to upgrade my phone at this time.

My daughter iPhone 11 just suddenly had a black screen. We tried everything for 2 days that they listed to turn it back on. She thought it was the battery. Nope they said it needed to be replaced. It didn't get wet. It worked the night before she went to bed. She wakes up and it's a black screen. Now we have to buy a new one. Not Cool Apple

Apologies I shouldn't have said it's not the battery with such assuredness. While it could be, if you have updated your iOS recently, chances are that it has something to do with the latest updates from iOS 17 on. Battery life is nasty and phone overheats quickly with these newest updates. That was supposedly fixed but not here. I have a newer iPhone 14. I have friends and family who are having the same issue.

No need to apologize, I actually think my issues might be caused by both my battery and the iOS update. Before iOS 17 I didn’t have these problems but considering the age of my phone I think a new battery is probably a good idea. It’s just frustrating, I try to reduce waste and buying a new phone every couple of years when it’s in perfect physical condition feels very wasteful. The updates should be more compatible with older phones.
