iMessage group photo changing

So, in one of my groups, it keeps showing that I am changing the group photo. I am not. On some occasions, it was actually change to an emoji that it used to be set as before the picture I want.

I am running 17.2.1, 15promax.

iMessage group photo In one of my iMessage group chats I keep seeing a message pop up (multiple times a day) that I have changed the group photo, when I have not changed the group photo and it is still the same. And then it will say that this one specific other member changed the group photo also. But no one is changing the group photo. I’ve updated my phone to the new IOS 17.3 but that didn’t solve the problem. Any tips, advice, or help?

iMessage Group Chat Settings Ghost?? I have noticed in 2 group chats that I am in, I find messages that say I changed the group photo or I removed someone from the conversation but I didn’t make these actions. They are also always happening at times when I am not on my phone. I am using an iPhone 11 running iOS 17.2.1 (latest version). In this screenshot, there was originally a message in between the 2 removed photo messages saying I changed the photo but it has somehow disappeared?? This one was today, it did change the group photo but it was just changed to the original group photo and not anything random in my photos. What is going on with my iMessage??

Multiple threads of this issue and not a single peep from Apple on a fix. You would think it be priority one on crud to fix.

Having the same issue, nearly all participants in our group chat are experiencing the same problem.
