Lol auto corrects to lol at the beginning of a sentence

PSA: Found a solution to this for all who are interested. (There is a thread on the issue but was closed for no activity, with no useful solution reached.)

Add these to text replacements:

lol —> lol

Lol —> Lol

Works for me.

Any other solutions out there?

iPhone 6, iOS 12

Part of the problem is that it will change the word automatically even when I am two or three words past having written “good.” By this time I am not paying attention and I might send a message that has “hood” written instead of “good.” I went into text replacement ins settings and entered that when I type “good” at I mean “good.” It’s annoying and I don’t know why it does this.
